Things at Christmas Island are finally back to the good ole days! Regular scheduled air service is being provided by Air Pacific and they've been running the route successfully now for the past several years, taking fishermen to the bonefish/trevally paradise that started it all. Fishing has honestly never been better, and our returning clients from this past season report regular catches of 15-25 bonefish and more per day. Much of the numbers game is dependent on an angler's ability; however, there are few places that offer the level of guide service that the Captain Cook staff delivers, and beginner, intermediate and advanced anglers will find ample opportunities to catch plenty of bonefish averaging 2 1/2 pounds and up.

Not just a bonefish resource, Christmas Island is still one of the top destinations worldwide for giant trevally. Fishermen wishing to take on these aggressive members of the jack family should come prepared with heavy fly or spin tackle and be sure to devote some time strictly for hunting these great fish. In addition to the bonefish and trevally, the blue-water opportunities abound within sight of land. Experienced offshore operator Kim Andersen will cater to your every need, supplying all conventional gear for a day of yellowfin tuna and wahoo fishing.

Christmas is one of the best values for your fishing dollar, and it remains one of the lowest priced week-long fishing packages available.
