Fish Food is an excellent dirty water egg pattern designed for steelhead and trout. It is most effective when drifted in the deep seams and pools under an indicator or bottom bounce rig (otherwise known as chuck and duck). There is something to be said about the combination of orange and Niagara gold egg yarn when fished in murky water in the fall and early winter. In fact, steelhead smash this pattern in the rain/run-off swolen rivers of Michigan, Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania. It's basically a thumbnail sized nuke egg.
